Our Whole-House Repiping Process Start to Finish

Preparing your Home

Before our team starts, we recommend you cover your furniture and all areas where dust can gather with plastic. Whole-house repiping requires us to cut into your home’s drywall where necessary to allow us access to your water lines and drainage system.

The Repiping Process

During the repiping process, our team will need direct access to rooms where plumbing fixtures are located (bathrooms, kitchens, basement spaces, and the attic). Your old pipes will be removed and replaced with Uponor or Pex piping throughout the house.

Post Installation Testing and Inspection

Once all the new piping work is complete, our team will inspect the new plumbing system to ensure everything works as it should. We test every connection to confirm the installation has been completed correctly and up to code. Lastly, we will turn on the water, perform a pressure check on the new system, and flush out anything remaining.

Cleaning Up

After the inspection, our team will get to work cleaning up any mess that may have been left behind due to work. We recommend lining up a drywall specialist to patch any necessary holes created during the repipe process after completion. Recommendations are available upon request.

When should I have Repiping Work Done?

Sometimes there is a convenient time to work on your home's pipes, such as when you're remodeling the house. If that's not the case, here are a few warning signs to watch out for around your home.

Is your Water a Weird Color?

Suppose your water has taken on an odd coloring and is no longer clear. Discolored water could point to repiping because the pipes in your home could be old and show signs of corrosion.

Is your Water Pressure Weaker?

Low water pressure could point to a couple of different problems. It can be caused by old pipes slowly leaking, meaning it’s time to have your home repiped.
